EAB Heritage Society

We invite you on a journey today to yesterday.

The Boys' Brigade was founded in Glasgow on 4th October 1883 by Sir William Alexander Smith. From this one Company formed in Scotland the BB has grown in to a worldwide movement having worked with millions of children and young people for well over a century.

East Antrim

In 1964 as a result of the Haynes report The Boys' Brigade and The Life Boys were renamed as The Boys' Brigade Company and Junior Sections.

In 1967 we took Battalion status with the first President being Mr. J. W. Sandford. There have been seven Presidents since then with the eight one, Mr. Drew Buchanan MBE, being elected in 2009

We would like you to view yesterday today by looking at the legacy of the battalion's achievements in photographs, displays, colourful exhibits, research and collections which reflect how members of this great organisation responded to the changes during the past decades.

This museum collects, preserves, researches and exhibits a collection of historical artefacts. This process takes many shapes, forms and media.
